Here are some of the Independence Day celebrations happening throughout the Lake Sunapee Region this year.
Saturday, June 27
Bradford, NH - Kick off the festivities with a 5K road race featuring a new course, followed by a vendor fair and barbecue dinner hosted by the Bradford Fire Department. Enjoy live music by Nick's Other Band from 7:00 PM to 9:15 PM, with fireworks lighting up the sky at 9:15 PM. Hosted by the Town of Bradford Parks and Recreation.
Grantham, NH - Start the day with breakfast from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM before enjoying the town parade at 10:30 AM. From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, festivities continue with live music, food trucks, games, and family activities. For a full lineup visit the Grantham NH town website.
Wednesday, July 1
New London, NH - Experience one of the region's most beloved traditions at Pleasant Lake. Flares will be lit around the shoreline at 9:00 PM, creating a spectacular display, followed by fireworks at 9:30 PM. Hosted by the Pleasant Lake Protective Association.
Saturday, July 4
Andover, NH - Begin the day with a 5K race at 9:00 AM. The Independence Day Parade steps off at noon, and fireworks at Carr Field begin at dusk.
Sunapee, NH - Start your morning with a pancake breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00 AM, then enjoy the popular Independence Day Parade from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. This annual celebration draws residents and visitors alike and is a favorite family tradition.
Sunday, July 5
Sunapee, NH - Celebrate with fireworks over Sunapee Harbor beginning at dusk. For a unique perspective, reserve a dinner cruise aboard the MV Lake Queen and enjoy the fireworks from the water, or hop aboard the MV Mount Sunapee for a special fireworks-only cruise.
