From the Warner Fall Foliage Festival and Harvest Day at Muster Field Farm to community celebrations in Wilmot, Newport and Sunapee, there is something happening nearly every weekend.
Whether you are planning a fall getaway or looking for something to do close to home, here are some of the events happening throughout the Lake Sunapee Region and surrounding communities this fall.
September 17
The Fells Summer Concert Series
The Fells, Newbury | 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Spend one of the final evenings of summer enjoying live music on the grounds of The Fells. Peabody’s Coal Train takes the stage for an evening of music surrounded by the gardens and natural beauty of this historic Lake Sunapee estate.
September 19
Claremont Brewfest & 5K
Claremont Visitor Center Green
Raise a glass and lace up your sneakers for the annual Claremont Brewfest & 5K! The day begins with the 5K at 11:30 a.m., followed by an afternoon featuring more than 30 New England brewers, live music and local food.
Brewfest general admission runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and is open to guests ages 21 and older.

Wilmotpalooza
Wilmot Town Green | 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Celebrate everything that makes Wilmot special at Wilmotpalooza! 🎶 Hosted by the Wilmot Community Association, this annual gathering brings the community together for an afternoon of live music, food, activities for all ages, local exhibits and more on the Wilmot Town Green.
September 26
Newport Block Party
Main Street, Newport | 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Head to downtown Newport as Main Street comes alive for the annual Block Party! Enjoy live music at the bandstand, food trucks, local vendors, a farmers market, yard games and the CarNutz Cruise Night.
It's a fun way to kick off Homecoming Weekend and spend an early fall evening downtown.

Strut in Sutton 5K
Sutton | 9:00 a.m.
Run, walk or strut your way around beautiful Kezar Lake while supporting Sutton Elementary School. The Strut in Sutton 5K combines a community fundraiser with a scenic course and a great reason to get outside on an early fall morning.

LSPA Full Moon Cruise
Sunapee | 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Spend an early fall evening out on Lake Sunapee with the Lake Sunapee Protective Association's Full Moon Cruise. Guests will cruise aboard the MV Mt. Sunapee II while supporting LSPA's educational programs and ongoing work throughout the watershed.
October 4
Harvest Day at Muster Field Farm
Muster Field Farm, North Sutton | 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Celebrate the end of the growing season at one of the area's favorite historic farms. Harvest Day features live music, artist demonstrations, homestead tours and fresh produce from the farm stand.
Be sure to stop by the Pillsbury Barn for a warm bowl of homemade soup before exploring the farm and enjoying a fall afternoon in Sutton.
October 9–11
Warner Fall Foliage Festival
Downtown Warner
For three days each October, downtown Warner fills with music, food, entertainment and plenty of fall color during the Warner Fall Foliage Festival. The weekend includes a crafts and farmers market, midway rides, live music, an oxen pull, road races, a parade and plenty of activities throughout town. Beyond being a favorite fall tradition, festival proceeds help support local organizations and community projects throughout Warner.
October 11
NH Duck Drop
Mount Sunapee, Newbury | 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Thousands of rubber ducks, a chairlift and targets scattered across the mountain make this one of the more unusual fall traditions in the region! Purchase a numbered duck, ride the chairlift and watch as the ducks are dropped toward targets below for the chance to win prizes. Proceeds from the NH Duck Drop support local Boys & Girls Clubs.

Hay Day Fall Festival
The Fells, Newbury | 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Spend a fall day exploring The Fells during its annual Hay Day Fall Festival. The family-friendly celebration includes old-fashioned games, live music, children's art projects and opportunities to explore the Main House and beautifully landscaped grounds.
October 11
Ragged Mountain Harvest Party
Ragged Mountain Resort, Danbury | 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Welcome the upcoming ski season at Ragged Mountain's annual Harvest Party. Enjoy live music, browse the ski and snowboard equipment sale, shop work from local artists and challenge friends and family to a few yard games. It's also a chance to spend an afternoon at the mountain before the snow starts to fly.
November 3–11
Christmas at The Fells
The Fells, Newbury
We're looking ahead to the holidays for this one! Christmas at The Fells transforms the historic Main House with seasonal décor and a full lineup of holiday events and experiences. From the Holiday Showcase to special events throughout the celebration, Christmas at The Fells has become a popular way to begin the holiday season in the Lake Sunapee Region.
Plan ahead: Tickets go on sale soon, and this popular event can sell out quickly. If Christmas at The Fells is part of your holiday plans, be sure to reserve your tickets early.
November 6
First Friday: Gallery Stroll
New London
Spend an evening exploring art throughout downtown New London during the November First Friday Gallery Stroll. Local artists are featured in Microgalleries at businesses and gathering spaces around town, including Tatewell Gallery, Blue Loon Bakery, the New London Inn, Grounds and Bar Harbor Bank. Stroll from one location to the next, view work from regional artists and enjoy complimentary refreshments and conversation along the way. The event is free and open to all.
November 26
Sunapee Turkey Trot
Sunapee Harbor | Thanksgiving Morning
Start Thanksgiving Day with one of Sunapee Harbor's favorite traditions. The annual Turkey Trot brings runners, walkers, families and friends together for a festive morning before Thanksgiving celebrations begin. The morning starts with the 1K Chicken Run for kids at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9:00 a.m. Whether you are racing for a personal best or simply joining in the fun, it's a great way to wrap up the fall season in the Lake Sunapee Region.
