Inventory locally and statewide is finally showing signs of improvement. For the majority of this year, there have been less than 950 single family homes* available for sale. At the writing of this post, there were over 1,386 single family homes for sale in New Hampshire with a median list price of $630,000. Read the full report here.

It may come as no surprise but 2020 was a noteworthy year for waterfront home sales on Lake Sunapee. Since the record year of 2014, lakefront home sales have hovered around 20 sales per year until 2020 when 31 properties sold. In comparison to 2014, the median sales price was $225,000 higher and the average was up $431,213 breaking the two million mark. Total home sales for the Lake Sunapee Region totaled 37 for the month of February bringing cumulative sales to 77 for the year. The median sales price was $240,000. Home sales are up slightly from February 2019 where we saw 35 sales with a median sold price of $218,000. This September, home sales totaled 76 and were up by 5 transactions compared to September 2017. Year-to-date, 501 properties have sold in the Lake Sunapee Region and the median sales price is $245,000.
