In June, 73 homes sold bringing the 2020 cumulative home sales up to 296. The highest home sales price in May 2020 was $4,700,000 in Sunapee. The town of Grantham saw the most sales with 13 homes sold. Home Sales, May 2020

In May there were 50 home sales in the Lake Sunapee Region, 15 sales less than what sold in May 2019. The median sales price increased by $35,000 and the average Days on Market dropped from 117 to 88. Total home sales for the Lake Sunapee Region in the month of April came in at 45 bringing the cumulative sales to 173 for 2020. The median sales price was $235,000 ($5,000 above April 2019) and the average Days on Market (DOM) for the month was 103. Although the DOM seems high, we are seeing a lot of old inventory go under contract and close. At the same time, we are watching new to the market homes go under contract quickly, sometimes within only a few days of when they are listed.
